The Clerk of Court can retain public access to criminal records. Lori Schreiber is the current Clerk of Court at Court House, 2 E. Airy Street, 2nd Floor, Norristown, PA 19404-0311. The office maintains a computerized index and docket to keep records of all documents filed in each case. You can submit forms in person, by mail, or through the website. Court costs are assessed and collected for each case. Court-related records are levied per the law. Public access is available in the Clerk of Courts’ office during regular business hours and on the Pennsylvania Unified Judicial System website.

The office of the recorder of Deeds maintains all land records and documents in the County. The office also records notary commissions, public military discharge papers of all eligible service and reserve members, subdivisions, state highway and railroad plans, power of attorney, and other documents. Fees for copies of deeds range from $60.75 to $73.75.
